What Does Food Cost at Orlando Airport?

See dated MCO food-price examples from McCoy's official overnight menu, calculate a meal subtotal and understand why off-airport menus are misleading comparisons.

MCO has no single airport-wide meal price. One documented example is McCoy’s September 2026 overnight menu: a fruit cup is listed at $10, a Caesar salad at $15 and a 12-inch cheese pizza at $20. These are one venue’s published prices for one service period, not a live quote or an airport average.

Use a dated menu to form a budget, then check the actual total before ordering. The venue, menu period, portion, included sides and drinks all change the comparison. A number attached to “Orlando Airport” in a search result may belong to a hotel or restaurant outside MCO.

Published overnight-menu examples

These amounts appear in the official McCoy’s overnight PDF, in its September 2026 folder, checked on October 2, 2026. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

Item Published price Comparison limit
Fresh fruit cup $10 A snack or meal component, not equivalent to a full dinner
Caesar salad $15 Check the actual portion and any additions
12-inch cheese pizza $20 A listed whole pizza; sharing depends on your group’s appetite
12-inch pepperoni pizza $21 Different topping and total from the cheese option
Soft drink $4.50 An addition to the food subtotal

The menu is labeled for midnight–7 a.m. Check that the current menu still offers the item before relying on it. We have not purchased these orders or measured their portions.

Turn menu prices into a useful subtotal

A listed cheese pizza plus two listed soft drinks gives a $29 menu subtotal: $20 + $4.50 + $4.50. A listed Caesar salad plus one soft drink gives $19.50. These are arithmetic examples based on that document.

Neither figure is a final bill. Confirm applicable tax, any service charge and additions before deciding what the order will cost. The overnight PDF states an 18% service charge for parties of six or more. Ask how the restaurant applies it and whether other charges affect the order.

For a family or group, budget from the actual number of food and drink orders. Dividing a pizza price between people does not establish that it will satisfy everyone. If the meal needs sides or another dish, include those rather than treating the cheapest visible item as the whole budget.

Why an older linked menu needs a date

Hyatt also links a breakfast PDF carrying a 2025 date. It shows an All-Florida Breakfast at $17.95 and a vegetable hash at $13.95. The fact that the link remains on the hotel website does not prove those prices were reissued in October 2026.

Check the current breakfast offer at the venue and keep the date visible when comparing. A buffet and an à la carte item may include different drinks or components, so their headline prices need an inclusion check as well.

Our breakfast guide covers choosing a meal format; this page uses prices only where a source supports a specific example.

Compare the right airport location

MCO confirms that the airport Hyatt restaurants are public, before security in A/B. A menu at a nearby hotel may be cheaper or dearer but creates a different transport plan. It is not automatically an alternative for a passenger at a gate.

When a search result says “airport restaurant,” check the full address and security location. Also select the particular outlet in a chain’s ordering app. A neighborhood promotion or menu for another branch does not establish the price at an airport concession.

The airport food overview helps identify which area fits your journey. Compare the food price only after resolving whether you can reasonably get there.

Ways to keep the comparison honest

Check portion and inclusions, then compare the total order you actually want. Ask about the price of a required substitution or add-on. For packaged food, look for the displayed price before purchase rather than assuming a snack category is inexpensive.

Bringing familiar solid food may provide another option, subject to screening rules. Going off airport adds transport and time, so include those when considering an outside meal.

This page intentionally gives traceable examples rather than a made-up “typical MCO meal” range. Confirm the current menu and checkout amount at the business you choose.
