If you are asking what terminal is Southwest at MCO, the answer is Terminal A: Southwest checks in on the A side of the main building and boards from gates 70–99 and 100–129. Frontier also checks in at Terminal A (gates 1–29 and 70–99). Delta, American, United, Breeze, Alaska, Allegiant, Sun Country and Air Canada check in at Terminal B. JetBlue, British Airways, Emirates, Aer Lingus, Virgin Atlantic, Icelandair, Norse, Azul, Avianca, Copa and Caribbean use the separate Terminal C. Spirit no longer flies from Orlando; it ceased operations on May 2, 2026.
At MCO the terminal letter mainly tells you where to check in. Terminals A and B are two sides of one building, and the gate area on your boarding pass (1–29, 30–59, 70–99 or 100–129) decides which security checkpoint you use. Terminal C is a separate building with one checkpoint and gates C230–C254. Everything below comes from MCO’s official airline list and terminal maps as of October 2026. Airlines occasionally move, so run the “How to check today” steps before you leave.

What terminal is Southwest at MCO?
Southwest is at Terminal A, East Security Checkpoint, gates 70–99 and 100–129. MCO’s airline list and Southwest’s own airport page agree. The MCO Southwest terminal counters sit toward the east end of the A side, by doors 12–14 on MCO’s Airline Locations map, and Southwest is the only Terminal A carrier with curbside check-in.
Because Southwest uses both east-side gate areas, read the gate on your boarding pass rather than assuming a 100-series gate from a past trip. Once through the East checkpoint you can reach both 70–99 and 100–129 by switching Gate Link trains. Southwest’s airport page notes overnight (9 p.m. to 7 a.m.) Gate Link construction with buses in place, so allow extra time for a red-eye.
What terminal is Frontier at MCO?
Frontier is at Terminal A, but its gates are split: MCO lists 1–29 (West checkpoint) and 70–99 (East checkpoint). The Frontier counters are at the west end of Terminal A, by door 6. Your gate number decides the checkpoint; use the wrong one and you leave the secure area and queue again. Of all the Frontier terminal MCO details, the gate split is the one to verify most carefully, because Frontier adds and drops gates seasonally.
What terminal is Delta at MCO?
Delta is at Terminal B, East Security Checkpoint, gates 70–99, with curbside check-in. The Delta terminal MCO counters are at the east end of B, by doors 31–32, next to Sun Country, LATAM and Bahamasair. American and United are also Terminal B but on the other checkpoint: both use West and gates 30–59, with counters near doors 22–26. Alaska (gates 30–39) and Allegiant (30–59) are B/West as well.
What terminal is Spirit at MCO?
None. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority announced on May 2, 2026 that Spirit Airlines “has canceled all flights and has begun to wind down operations,” ending 33 years at Orlando. Spirit does not appear on MCO’s current airline list. If you hold an old Spirit booking, the press release points to Spirit’s website for refunds and names American, United, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, Allegiant, Frontier, Avelo and Breeze among carriers that offered rebooking help. Older guides still placing Spirit at Terminal A are out of date.
Which airlines use Terminal C?
MCO Terminal C houses JetBlue plus nearly every long-haul international carrier: Aer Lingus, Aeromexico, Air France, Avianca, Azul, British Airways, Caribbean, Copa, Discover (Lufthansa Group), Emirates, GOL, Iberia, Icelandair, Norse Atlantic, Porter, TAP, Virgin Atlantic and Zipair. The JetBlue terminal at MCO is C, gates C230–C238, with curbside check-in; most other Terminal C airlines board from C240–C245.
Lufthansa is not on MCO’s airline list as of October 2026. The Frankfurt route is flown by Lufthansa Group’s Discover Airlines, and MCO’s Terminal C FAQ still names Lufthansa among Terminal C carriers, so a Lufthansa-branded ticket to Frankfurt departs from Terminal C.
Two answers people get wrong: the Breeze terminal at MCO is B (West checkpoint, gates 1–29), not C, and the United terminal at MCO is B (gates 30–59), not A.
Is Terminal A or B closer to Terminal C?
Terminal B. The Terminal Link train to Terminal C leaves from Terminal B’s East Hall next to the Hyatt atrium on Level 3, and the 24-hour shuttle bus stops at Terminal B Level 1, space B65. Terminal A is the same building, 525 feet across, so from an A counter you first walk through to the B side. For a Terminal C flight, drive to Terminal C’s own curb and Parking Garage C instead of A/B.
How do I get between terminals?
A to B: walk across Level 3 (Departures), 525 feet. A/B to C: ride the Terminal Link automated people mover from Terminal B to the Train Station, then walk about 1,200 feet through Parking Garage C to Terminal C, or take the 24-hour shuttle bus between Terminal B Level 1 (space B65) and Terminal C Level 1 (space C272). MCO’s Terminal C FAQ puts the train ride at about four minutes.
Between A/B gate areas after security, use the Gate Link trains: you can switch between 1–29 and 30–59, or between 70–99 and 100–129, but not between the West and East halves without re-clearing security. Terminal C has one checkpoint, so every C gate is reachable once you are through.
How to check today
Check three things on the day you fly: MCO’s Flight Status page for your flight’s terminal and gate, MCO’s Airlines page for the current terminal and checkpoint, and the gate number on your boarding pass. MCO states it does not control delays or cancellations, so confirm time changes with the airline. For the security line itself, see our MCO TSA wait times guide.
Where to eat once you know your terminal
Food at MCO is checkpoint-specific, so pick the guide for your gate area: Terminal A food, Terminal B food, Terminal C restaurants, or the full Orlando airport food overview. With a long gap before check-in, Fish On Fire is a short drive away; see restaurants near Orlando airport. If you packed snacks, read bringing food through MCO security first.
